Public artist profile and artist directory
Your public profile is your calling card on the internet: Your photo, a few words about you, platforms, releases, videos, shows and contact details, all on one page with its own address. The profiles of all Bez Labelu artists come together in the artist directory, where fans and promoters can find you by genre, region or openness to collaboration.
The public profile is one of the add-on services in Artists Bez Labelu – in the left-hand menu under Public profile. Every artist gets a basic profile free of charge in the START plan; higher plans add a gallery, more releases and collaborators, your own playlists and more frequent updates. This article describes everything the profile contains, how the artist directory works, how to fill in your profile and how approval works.
What your public profile contains
Your profile lives at artists.bezlabelu.cz/artist-name and has an English version with /en/ in the address. Search engines index it (we submit it to Google and other search engines, together with structured data about the artist), so it also shows up when people search for your name. The page has a light and a dark mode, and as you scroll, a mini bar with your photo, name and main platforms stays pinned at the top.
| Block | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Header | A blurred photo in the background, your name, performer type, roles and genres, city, round icons for platforms and social networks (your website appears as a globe icon with the domain) and the Shows, Contact and Share buttons. |
| About | Your text about yourself in a separate block, in Czech or English depending on the page version. |
| Listen | An embedded Spotify player for your artist profile. |
| Featured releases and videos | Releases from your distribution with cover art and links to the platforms (we add these automatically), plus YouTube videos that play right on the profile. The “all releases” link opens the public releases list filtered to you (how it is created is described in the article Album links). |
| Shows and events | Your upcoming events, including those where you appear as a guest, and past events from the last 6 months. |
| Quick facts | Where you’re from, how long you’ve been active, age (calculated from your date of birth – the date itself is never shown) and gender – only what you fill in. |
| Contact and Open to collaboration | Contact details only appear after a click, so bots can’t harvest them. If you’re looking for collaborators, an extra block appears with your call-out and contact details for collaboration (in a gradient frame). |
| Playlists | Links to the bez Labelu playlists that include your recordings. |
| Collaborates with, Other projects | Cards of the artists you work with (connected via Profile ID) and your other projects, both on Bez Labelu and elsewhere. |
| Your own playlists and Gallery | Your own playlists with your recordings and a gallery of more photos with a viewer (PREMIUM plan). |
| Sharing and footer | Share buttons, a link to the directory of other artists, releases, events and playlists of Bez Labelu, and the Report content button. |
Blocks of the public profile. Empty sections are not displayed.
When editing your profile, you can also see the number of views of your profile (in total and this month). Only visits from other people count – your own views and search engine bots are not included.
The artist directory
The public artist directory is at artists.bezlabelu.cz/umelci (in English at /en/artists). Every artist has a card with a photo, type and roles, genres, city, an “open to collaboration” label, the date of their next show and a Rising artist label (active for less than two years).
Filters
Genre, focus, performer type, region (only regions where someone is listed, with counts), open to collaboration, has an upcoming show, rising artist, male/female – several at once if you like.
Sorting
Newest, alphabetical, random or by next show. The Shuffle button mixes up the cards on the page.
Map
Artists with a city picked from the list appear on the map – pins are grouped by city, with a count and a list.
Search
Search by name, with suggestions from just two letters.
Not everyone has to be in the directory: Each artist decides whether they want to be listed (from the STANDARD plan, it can be switched off), and bigger artists often prefer not to be. So if someone is missing from the directory, it doesn’t mean anything.
How to fill in your profile
Editing is split into cards, each with an explanation (toggle Explanations in the top right). You can save your draft as often as you like; changes only go public once you submit them for approval. Fields with an asterisk are required – a profile photo, performer type, at least one identifier on a music platform and a short text about you. Until everything is filled in, the Submit for review button is disabled and a list of what’s missing is shown above it.
| Card | What to fill in and what to watch out for |
|---|---|
| Profile status | Draft, Pending review, Approved or Returned for edits. You can also see the date from which you can submit your next update. |
| Profile ID & widget | Your Profile ID is your public identifier at Bez Labelu – give it to the people you play with and they can add you to their profile with it. The widget is a small card with your name, genres and icons for all your platforms that you can embed on your website (code to copy, recommended height 110 px). |
| Profile photo | Required. JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB; it is cropped to a square, so pick a photo with you in the centre. Use the buttons to rotate it if it uploaded sideways or upside down. |
| Gallery | Up to 3 more photos (a show, the studio, the band…), shown on your profile with a viewer. PREMIUM plan only. |
| Basics | Performer type (solo artist, duo, band, choir, ensemble, DJ / producer, AI project, other), focus (original, partly original, covers or AI-generated music), up to 3 genres and roles (composer, lyricist, vocals, rap, instrumentalist, producer, beatmaker, DJ, arranger, mixing, mastering, sound design). Choose what describes you best – it is used in the directory filters. |
| Personal details | All optional: Date of birth (only your age is shown), gender, how long you’ve been active, and “Where you’re from” with city suggestions – a city from the list puts you on the map and in the region filter; free text works too, just without a pin. |
| Text about you | A short introduction, 3 to 5 sentences is fine, in the first person or about the band. The English version is optional – if you leave it empty, visitors to the English version will see the Czech text. The text goes through a word filter. |
| Contact details | Email, phone, website… On the profile, they only appear after a click. Your website is shown as an icon among the platforms. |
| Platforms | Links to your artist profiles (not to releases). Whatever we have from your distribution is pre-filled and cannot be changed – write to us if it needs changing. Any one platform is enough; we can’t look up Amazon Music ourselves, so fill it in manually (see the article Spotify URI, Apple Music ID and Amazon Music ASIN). |
| Social media and other links | Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Threads… just the @name or the full link. Up to 3 custom links with any name you like (Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Patreon, an online shop) – we pick the icon based on the address. |
| Featured releases and videos | You choose releases from what you distribute with us; videos are YouTube links. The number depends on your plan (1 release and 1 video in START, 2 and 2 from STANDARD). |
| Collaborating artists | You connect Bez Labelu artists via their Profile ID – this way, no one can add another artist without their knowledge. You can enter the ID even before the other artist has finished their profile; the card appears as soon as they publish it. Artists outside Bez Labelu (name + link) can be added in the PREMIUM plan. |
| Open to collaboration | From the STANDARD plan. Tick it when you’re looking for a feature, a band or a producer – an extra block with your call-out appears on your profile and people can find you through the directory filter. Only fill in contact details for collaboration if they differ from your usual ones. |
| Other projects | Your other projects on Bez Labelu (via Profile ID, from STANDARD) and outside Bez Labelu (via a link, PREMIUM). They must be your own projects – they don’t have to be musical, but unrelated things don’t belong here. |
| Your own playlists | PREMIUM: Up to 2 of your own playlists with your recordings. One row = one playlist; the Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music fields are the same playlist on different platforms, so fill in the one where you have it. Other artists’ recordings don’t belong in them. |
| What shows on your profile and in the directory | Whether you appear in the public artist directory and whether the Shows and Playlists blocks are displayed on your profile. Locked options are always switched on in your plan. |
Cards for editing your public profile.
Submission and approval
-
Save your draft and submit it for review
The button unlocks once the required items are filled in and saved. Until approval, the last approved version stays publicly visible (nothing, for a new profile). -
Review usually within 24 hours
We check your profile manually. We publish an approved profile at your address (cs and en) and submit it to search engines; a returned profile comes with the reason in the app and by email – fix it and submit it again. -
Further updates depend on your plan
You can edit your draft at any time, but you can only resubmit it for review once every 12 months in START, once every 6 months in STANDARD and once every 2 months in PREMIUM, counting from the last approval. You can see the date from which you’ll be able to do so on the Profile status card.
Texts and links go through a filter for inappropriate words – the app highlights a banned expression as you type, and you can’t submit a profile containing it. Anyone can report a profile’s content with the button in the footer; a confirmed report means a warning, and after the third one the profile is hidden. For details, see the article Add-on services – Plans and payments.
Public profile plans
You’ll find current prices in the add-on services price list in the app. When a higher plan ends, nothing is deleted – items over the limit simply stop being displayed and the mandatory options are switched back on.

Overview of public profile plans. “Always” = the option is switched on and cannot be turned off.
Your public profile has everything a typical link-in-bio page has – platforms, social networks, contact details, releases and shows – plus your face, your own address and visibility in search engines. Put it in your social media bios and in your video descriptions. How to claim the artist profiles on the platforms you add to your profile is described in the article How to claim your artist account on the platforms.
