AI music
Also known as: AI-generated musicgenerative AIAI track
Music whose audio (or part of it) was generated by an artificial intelligence tool. Platforms label and restrict it.
You must declare AI involvement for every recording in the Recording origin section. AI music must not go to content platforms (TikTok, Content ID, Meta) and must not imitate other people's voices or remake other people's songs.
Only a human can be an author: The smaller your own creative contribution, the weaker your rights in the result.
Not to be confused with
- AI cover – Someone else's protected song “re-sung” or “re-played” by artificial intelligence. It cannot be distributed.
- AI voice cloning – Creating vocals that sound like a specific real person. Without their consent it violates their personality rights.
