Redesigned page for adding and editing a recording + new features

The form for adding and editing a recording has been redesigned, and a number of new fields and sections have been added – from an extended authors section through production to a special confirmation of rights just for remixes.

The page for entering and editing recordings is one of the most important in Artists Bez Labelu – this is where you fill in the metadata of each song, upload the audio file and confirm your rights. The new version is clearer and covers more situations than before.

What's new

Primary artist display

The primary artist linked to your account is clearly displayed to avoid unnecessary confusion.

Additional primary artist section

A complete block for entering an additional primary artist of the recording, including their identifiers on the platforms.

Extended authors section

Alongside the composer, there are now separate fields for the lyricist and the arranger – roles that previously could not be entered anywhere and had to be added manually by us.

Extended production section

In addition to the existing producer field, there are now separate fields for the mixing engineer and the mastering engineer.

Extended remix section

A field for the remixer's name and a special confirmation of rights intended specifically for a remix.

Extended file validation

The system also warns you about problematic metadata in the WAV file – for example, an incorrect date that would block distribution.

Confirmation and declaration

A final confirmation of the rights to the content is now part of every recording form.

A lyricist and an arranger are not the same as a composer

The new fields let you correctly distinguish who wrote the music, who wrote the lyrics and who arranged the work. This matters both for correctly crediting authorship and for collective rights management through OSA and similar organisations.
