Instrumental
Also known as: instrumental versionbacking track
A recording without vocals. As a separate version of a released song it has its own ISRC and “Instrumental” in the title.
A beat bought or downloaded from the internet is not your instrumental: Its use is governed by the seller's licence, which often does not allow distribution or content platforms.
