Spotify for Artists profile management

We make the changes on your Spotify profile in Spotify for Artists for you. Send us one form with everything you want to change – profile picture, header image, gallery, bio, Artist Pick, playlists, social links, Canvas, Countdown Page or a pitch of your upcoming release to editorial playlists. We will let you know when it is done or if we need anything.

Spotify for Artists profile management is one of the add-on services in Artists Bez Labelu. You will find it in the left menu under Spotify for Artists.

Who it is for

For artists with at least one release in distribution with us under the Bez Labelu label. As a label, we only have access to these profiles in Spotify for Artists. If you release only under your own label, the service is not shown in the app.

You can also manage your profile yourself – just claim it in Spotify for Artists (guide: How to claim your artist account on the platforms). This service is for those who would rather leave it to us.

Managing your profile yourself?

On the service page, tick I manage my Spotify for Artists profile myself – do not show it in the menu. Spotify for Artists then disappears from the left menu. The service stays in the Add-on services & payments overview, and you can untick it at any time.

Pricing

  • PREMIUM: CZK 290 per year. Requests included: 2 every calendar month; unused requests do not carry over to the next month.
  • One-off request: CZK 90 per request – without PREMIUM, or when you have used up your requests for the month. You pay upfront and use it in the form once paid. It does not expire.

One request = one submitted form with as many changes as you like (for example a new photo, bio and Canvas at once). The service only has the PREMIUM plan – there is no STANDARD and PREMIUM does not need it. It is not part of the all-services bundle and is bought separately. You pay by offset against your royalties or by bank transfer with a QR code, or by card if the app offers it to you. If we cancel a request, it goes back to your monthly allowance or to your one-off requests.

How it works

  1. In Artists Bez Labelu, open Spotify for Artists → New request and tick what you want to change. You only fill in those parts.
  2. Photos and videos are checked as you upload them (format, dimensions, length). You send the request once everything is fine – above the Send request button you see what is still missing.
  3. We make the changes in Spotify for Artists. You can see the status in the service overview: Sent, In progress, Returned with a question, Done.
  4. If we need anything (for example a photo in higher resolution), we return the request with a question and send you an email. You reply right in the app, files included.
  5. When it is done, we send you an email. Changes may take a while to show on Spotify.

What you can change and what we need

Profile partRequirements
Profile pictureJPG, PNG or GIF, at least 750 × 750 px, max 20 MB. It is shown in a circle – keep important things in the middle.
Header imageJPG, PNG or GIF, at least 2660 × 1140 px, max 20 MB. On phones it is cropped at the sides, so keep text away from the edges.
GalleryUp to 5 photos per request, each at least 690 × 500 px. You choose whether we add them to the current ones or replace the gallery.
BioUp to 1,500 characters. You can put Spotify links (artists, albums, playlists) right into the text.
Artist PickA highlight at the top of your profile: A release, playlist, concert or something else (merch, podcast), a short text and optionally an image of at least 690 × 500 px. It stays up to 180 days.
Artist playlistsUp to 10 links to your playlists on Spotify, in the order you want them shown.
Social linksInstagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Wikipedia and a WhatsApp channel – add, change or remove.
CanvasFor a specific track from your catalogue. Vertical 9:16 MP4, 3–8 seconds, 720–1080 px wide (for example 1080 × 1920), max 50 MB. You can also make a Canvas in Promo studio.
Countdown PageA page with a countdown and pre-save before release. Spotify only offers it for albums and EPs and only to artists with at least 3,000 monthly active listeners – if it is not offered for your profile, we will let you know. Optionally a vertical video of 3–30 s, at least 720 × 1280 px.
Pitch to editorial playlistsSee below.

All files in one request can be up to 90 MB in total. We never publish them and delete them 30 days after the request is done.

Pitch to editorial playlists

In Spotify for Artists you can offer Spotify editors one unreleased track from an upcoming release. We do it for you when:

  • the release is under the Bez Labelu label and already delivered to Spotify,
  • there are at least 10 days left until the release date (the earlier, the better),
  • you choose exactly one track – one pitch per release.

In the form you fill in the genre and subgenres, mood, style, instruments, track type, whether it is instrumental, language, where you are from and a description for editors (up to 500 characters), optionally your promotion plans too. The release list in the form only shows releases that can still be pitched.

A pitch does not guarantee a placement

Spotify editors decide what goes into editorial playlists. A pitch helps even without a placement, though: According to Spotify, a track pitched at least 7 days before release shows up in your followers’ Release Radar playlist.

FAQ

Can I send several changes at once?

Yes. One request is one form – tick all the parts you want to change.

What if I run out of requests for the month?

You can buy another one as a one-off request for CZK 90. With a new month, your PREMIUM requests are back in full.

Can I see what I sent?

Yes. The service overview has a history of your requests with their status, and the detail shows everything you sent, including files (until we delete them).

Can I pitch the same release twice?

No. There is one pitch per release – choose the track that matters most to you.

Why don’t I see Spotify for Artists in the menu?

Either you don’t have a release in distribution with us under the Bez Labelu label, or you ticked on the service page that you manage your profile yourself. In that case you will find the service in the Add-on services & payments overview, where you can untick it.

Can I still edit my profile myself?

Yes. Keep your own access to Spotify for Artists – use the service only for what you want to leave to us.
