Change your artist name yourself in your profile
A Change artist name button has been added to your Profile. You change your name yourself – and until you send anything for distribution, you can do it once, for free and immediately.
You will find the button in your Profile in the Names section, below the Artist name field. You type the new name exactly as it should appear on the platforms, and the confirmation page shows you how it will look. If we spot anything suspicious about the name, for example that it is all in capital letters, we warn you before you confirm.
Before your first release
Until you send anything for distribution, you can change your name once for free. The change takes effect immediately.
After your first submission
Each change costs CZK 400 and we carry it out within 5 working days of payment. Discount coupons apply.
Your releases stay
No new ones are created. After the change, you just send them for distribution again – you will see the list on your dashboard.
A new artist profile is created on the platforms, and neither your followers nor algorithmic recommendations carry over to it. The play statistics of your releases remain. If you just want to release a new project under a different name, it is better to create a new account.
