Stream (play)
Also known as: playstreamlisten
One play of a recording on a streaming platform. On Spotify it counts from 30 seconds of listening.
Platforms do not pay a fixed amount per stream: They divide subscription and ad revenue by share of plays, so the value of a stream varies by platform, country and subscription type.
