Also known as: redeliverymetadata update
Sending an already released release to the platforms again so that changes in metadata or artwork take effect.
Saving a change in the app does not reach the platforms by itself – you have to send the change to distribution again. Some data (such as the recordings on a release or the primary artist) cannot be changed at all after release.
